Mrs. Dearth is very pleased with how hard the class worked on their assessments this week. We even got extra recess because we worked so hard! There was no spelling or DLR this week because of assessments. Our class has talked about the Halloween costume guidelines. I know what is expected. Our field trip is this Thursday! I need to return my conference form by Tuesday. Love, __________ read 60 min. X______________________ Dear ___________, Mrs. Dearth has had to be at several meetings recently. She is very proud and happy that our class has received "good notes" from our Guest Teachers. Completed field trip forms are due Monday, 10/22. We still need two more chaperones. Today report cards and conference materials are going home with most students. If I don't have my materials it is because you either met with Mrs. Dearth, or you are going to meet with her. We had an "Art and Soul" class today. We did the first step in making pinch pots. In two weeks, we will glaze them. My favorite part of working with the clay was _____________________. We are still in need of pencils. Love, Dear ___________, Yesterday, Mrs. Dearth gave us the information for our Colony Brochure. I need you to sign it by Monday. The report is due on 4/13. Conferences are March 12, 13 and 14. Mrs. Dearth will be sending home a schedule of families she wants to see on Monday. There is a Science test on Tuesday.
